Tucker Griffin Barnes P.C. is an established law firm with offices in Charlottesville, Lake Monticello, Harrisonburg, and Staunton, Virginia. Our firm is looking for a Litigation Attorney to handle a wide array of real estate and civil litigation matters. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, a great team player, has a positive attitude, and who will develop strong relationships with our large client base while providing quality and effective representation. And you won't be thrown to the wolves...You'll work under the direct supervision of a partner until such time as you are ready to manage your own cases.

*Qualifications:*
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
* J.D. and an active Virginia Bar license
* 2+ years’ experience as a practicing litigation attorney and strong desire to develop additional bench and jury trial skills
* Strong interest in developing real estate and civil litigation experience
* Self-starter with demonstrated experience in litigation
* Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
* Court room experience
* Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics
* Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently
* Client development and marketing experience
* Excellent attention to detail
* _Must love dogs! We have several in the office every day._
*The following qualifications are preferred:*
* Bench trial experience
* Experience with time keeping billing system
* Experience with document management programs

*Associate Compensation*:
We offer an annual salary with a unique opportunity to earn a significant monthly bonus. Each of our attorneys receives a monthly Profit and Loss statement. Attorneys keep 25% of their monthly profit as a bonus. This compensation model has been very successful and well supported. Our associates earn an average of $7,000.00 per month bonus.
*Promotion Opportunities*:
We have developed a "Path to Full Partnership," which includes promotion to Junior Partner with increased bonus compensation percentages.
