As the Sr. Staff Manager, Logistics you will be leading the logistics operations as an integral part of Marvell's Supply Chain Organization to efficiently plan, manage, and transport goods and services from suppliers to end consumers. It encompasses multiple stages including procurement, production, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. The primary goal of the logistics supply chain is to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while maintaining quality and minimizing disruptions. Key players include manufacturers, suppliers, logistics service providers, retailers, and customers.

What You Can Expect

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain process.
  • Manage and coordinate transportation, warehousing, distribution of goods and import & export compliance activities.
  • Develop and oversee a shipping self-service platform, ensuring it meets the needs of both internal and external users for indirect non-revenue and engineering parts shipments.
  • Support and manage urgent engineering shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Analyze and evaluate logistics performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of global logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, sales, and customer service, to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing shipping self-service platforms and urgent shipments.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing operational performance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and technology, such as ERP systems, TMS, and WMS.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

112,500 - 168,500, $ per annum. The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
