Senior Full-Stack Developer – Pearson Join Pearson’s K‑12 School Technology group. We develop innovative assessment technology platforms to deliver exams to test takers and score and report results. We are building the next generation of assessment platforms, leveraging state‑of‑the‑art technologies and processes. We are looking for outstanding candidates to bolster the staff of this critical work. Core Responsibilities Analyze, design, implement, and unit test high‑quality code for cutting‑edge assessment technology platforms. Maintain and support mission‑critical applications as necessary. Participate in requirements, design and code reviews. Collaborate with QA, configuration management, and end users to release high‑quality software and execute unit tests. Contribute to process and product quality improvement initiatives. Required Experience Full‑stack engineering experience with Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Experience with cloud‑hosted AWS applications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent. Software development experience creating SaaS applications. Experience with highly available, highly concurrent web‑based applications. Proficiency with GIT or a similar VCS. Agile development experience. Desirable Experience Experience with AI tools and LLMs. Ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools rapidly. Strong analytical and architectural thinking. Time‑management skills and ability to thrive under pressure. Self‑starter, detail‑oriented, and strong written and verbal communication. Team‑player mentalities. Bonus Skills IMS LTI, IMS QTI, IMS OneRoster. Common K‑12 reporting frameworks (Ed‑fi, Caliper). Applications will be accepted through 11/10/2025. This window may be extended depending on business needs. Compensation at Pearson includes a base salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000, an annual incentive program, and benefits.
