Pool Attendant

The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience at the pool area in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. As a Pool Attendant, you play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests using the pool and surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare the pool area before service, including setting up lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
• Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with seating, towels, and general information about the pool facilities.
• Monitor pool area to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all rules and regulations.
• Remove used towels, empty trash bins, and maintain a tidy pool deck throughout the day.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly.
• Assist with guest needs and requests, delivering exceptional service at all times.
• Support other departments as needed to enhance the overall guest experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or recreation is a plus.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and attentive in a busy, outdoor environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort

This position involves physical work and exposure to outdoor elements. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and other physical movements. Work is performed primarily in an outdoor pool environment and may include interaction with equipment and pool maintenance tools.
