HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Psychiatric for a local contract nursing job in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

• Number of Beds - 74
• Number of Staff – ~150
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – (1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters)
  • Night Shift - (1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters)
• Patient Ratios – RN 1:8 shared nursing model
• Type of equipment – Glucometer, office equipment, O2, tube feeding
• EMR – Meditech
• Weekends/Call: Rotating Weekends. No Call.
• Typical Procedures:
  • Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provide holistic, individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core measures for applicable patients.
  • Participate in development and implementation of plan of care.
  • Communicate the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention and promote collaboration within the health team.

Must Haves:\n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred\n- A recent 12 months of BHU RN experience in an acute hospital setting\n- ID RN License\n- BLS and CPI Certifications\n\nPreferred or Nice to Have:\n- 1 year chemical dependency/psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field.\n- MediTech Experience\n- Travel Experience
