About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Sports Management and Business Operations to take on a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and leading day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will serve in a dual capacity, overseeing sponsorship, sales, and ticketing strategies for multiple minor league baseball organizations, while also managing the business operations of the team. This dynamic position requires a leader with a strong background in professional sports management, particularly with MLB-affiliated teams, and a passion for delivering family-friendly entertainment. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include leading the sponsorship strategy, cultivating long-term partnerships, and maximizing brand alignment. The role also involves overseeing ticketing strategy, sales performance, and collaborating with marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns that enhance fan engagement. As the General Manager of the team, the candidate will be responsible for budget management, game day operations, and community outreach. Strategic planning, financial management, and the ability to work closely with ownership and front office teams to ensure the achievement of business and financial goals are essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 7 years' experience in professional sports management, and a proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
