Vaco has partnered with a company looking for an EDI Billing Associate to join their team!
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EDI Billing Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing electronic data interchange (EDI) billing processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoice generation, troubleshooting billing discrepancies, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will have experience with EDI platforms, billing operations, and a strong aptitude for working with data systems and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities: - Process and transmit billing transactions via EDI in compliance with customer-specific requirements and company policies.
- Monitor EDI transactions for errors, resolve transmission failures, and ensure successful delivery of invoices.
- Coordinate with IT, customer service, and finance teams to resolve EDI issues or discrepancies.
- Manage customer billing profiles, including updates to EDI mappings and specifications.
- Analyze and audit billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness before invoice submission.
- Generate manual invoices when necessary and ensure proper integration with EDI systems.
- Maintain detailed records of billing activities, corrections, and communications.
- Support month-end closing processes by ensuring all billing activities are up to date.
- Assist with onboarding new EDI customers, including setup, testing, and go-live support.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve EDI billing workflows.
