The University of New Mexicos Office of Compliance, Ethics, and Equal Opportunity (CEEO) seeks a Compliance Specialist (Civil Rights Investigator and Trainer) to join a growing and busy office dedicated to protecting and ensuring the civil rights of all UNM community members. The successful candidate will be experienced in conducting sensitive investigations from start to finish, effectively interviewing parties and witnesses, interpreting and analyzing policies, and providing technical advice in areas including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, Title IX, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other compliance areas.
Responsibilities :
The selected candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a team player, and able to multi-task while handling confidential material professionally.
