ROLE IMPACT
This role ensures accurate and culturally relevant translation and transcreation of marketing and crisis communication materials for a leading cosmetics brand. Success in this position means delivering high-quality bilingual content that resonates with Spanish-speaking audiences across multiple media formats and channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translate and transcreate English-to-Spanish marketing materials, including collateral, social media posts, and educational content
• Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure clarity, tone, and cultural accuracy
• Adapt scripts for subtitle/voice replacement in video projects
• Support crisis communications and fast-turnaround translation needs
• Collaborate across teams to manage multiple translation projects with competing deadlines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• BA or MA in Translation (English-Spanish), Communications, or Spanish
• 5+ years of experience translating/transcreating marketing and crisis content
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experienced with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as SDL/Trados
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• SDL/Trados or equivalent CAT software
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Glossary/terminology management platforms
• Subtitling or video editing tools (preferred)
• Email and project tracking systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience translating for cosmetics or beauty industry
• Familiarity with digital marketing format s
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills
