The Behavioral Health Technician position is responsible for providing direct and supportive care to clients/patients. Duties generally include, but are not limited to, providing general oversight of day-to-day activities, redirecting clients/patients as necessary, health monitoring (vital signs), intervening/responding to crises, communicating with the established treatment team, facilitating group education/structured activities, and transporting clients/patients as needed. Behavioral Health Technicians are responsible for possessing a basic understanding of client/patient treatment plans, monitoring and documenting client/patient behavior, and providing a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for clients/patients. Additional pay includes shift differential if hired for overnight shifts. The position offers premier training including initial immersive onboarding, continuous skill enhancement, comprehensive curricula, and a supportive learning atmosphere. Experience and education qualifications include a high school education or equivalent and two years of responsible employment; experience in Human Services or related field preferred. Employment requirements include successful completion of background checks, new hire orientation, training requirements, valid driver's license, first aid and CPR certification, medication administration training, and behavioral management training. Physical requirements include sedentary work with occasional exertion up to 10 pounds and repetitive movements for typing and writing.
