Job Description
Tampa law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team environment, values professional and respectful communication, and takes pride in delivering superior legal work. The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of bankruptcy experience or has clerked with a bankruptcy judge.
· Assist in managing commercial bankruptcy cases and creditors’ rights matters.
· Collaborate with attorneys, clients and team members on complex commercial transactions.
· Conduct due diligence, legal research, and document drafting related to bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
· Engage with clients to provide strategic counsel and exceptional service throughout bankruptcy or restructuring processes.
· Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings
· Communicate with clients and deliver exceptional service throughout all phases of representation.
Requirements
· Admission to Florida Bar
· One to two years of bankruptcy experience or has clerked with a bankruptcy judge
· Demonstrates clear, professional and persuasive communication in both speaking and writing
The firm is a state-wide Florida Law Firm and was formed in the 80’s. It is highly recognized by leading legal rating organizations. In addition to its expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring, it has earned distinction in corporate law, and real estate law through peer-reviewed evaluations and industry rankings.
Salary depends on experience. Firm does offer bonus potential. Firm pays to add family on health insurance.
