Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a thorough understanding of property leasing, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Duties

• Conduct property tours and provide detailed information about available units to prospective tenants.
• Manage the application process, including data entry and contract preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC requirements throughout the leasing process.
• Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and presentable for showings.
• Utilize customer relationship management tools to track leads and follow up with potential tenants effectively.
• Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels.

Skills

• Strong customer relationship management skills to build rapport with prospective tenants.
• Excellent conflict management abilities to handle tenant concerns professionally.
• Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Knowledge of property leasing processes, including contract preparation and execution.
• Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and Fair Housing laws is preferred.
• Experience in real estate administrative tasks is an advantage.
• Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
