They are looking for a professional with exceptional design skills, a strong background in WordPress development, expertise in UI/UX design, and a solid grasp of SEO and web-based solutions. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to balance multiple projects effectively.

Position Details

• Employment Type : Full-time, remote
• Location Flexibility : While this is a remote role, the successful candidate must reside in the local area and be available for occasional in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop flawless mobile-responsive websites and custom web applications.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver creative and technical solutions.
• Implement SEO best practices to ensure optimal performance of websites and applications.
• Interpret business requirements and technical specifications to devise successful solutions.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently, providing quick turnarounds on simpler tasks.
• Participate in planning, design meetings, and architecture discussions.
• Analyze specifications and design documents to understand project requirements.
• Use a critical eye for UI/UX design to create engaging visual experiences.
• React productively to shifting priorities with a focus on addressing client needs.
• Engage with community initiatives led by the organization and propose new initiatives.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• 8+ years of website design experience.
• Advanced proficiency in WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and familiarity with PHP and JavaScript.
• Expertise in theme builders such as Avada, Divi, and Elementor.
• Proven knowledge of UI/UX best practices for both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) requirements and practices.
• Working knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and unit testing practices.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design (portfolio required).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Degree or diploma in a related field.
• High level of proficiency in the English language.

Additional Assets

• Experience in modern custom web development (portfolio required, no templates).
• Native OS app design experience.
• Strong graphic design capabilities for both print and digital media.
