Located in Irmo, SC

Salary: 17.00 HR

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Warehouse Picker / Packer in West Columbia. This position will offer full time hours and compensation starting at $17.00 hourly. Shifts are Monday - Friday 5:00am / 6:00am until daily goals completed.

This role is extremely fast pace and will include picking 600+ items an hour, require standing for 10+ hours of shift, and walking up to 8 miles throughout shift. Flexible availability is required for this role.

The main duties of this position include:
-Picking items from inventory pallets and placing on conveyor system
-Using head set to recall picking inventory list and log items
-Re-stacking pallets to ensure that product is in safe and manageable position
-Stacking all picked items onto empty pallet, wrapping, and tagging for shipment
-Loading all tractor trailers for outgoing deliveries (up to 20 daily)

This role is extremely fast pace and will include picking 500+ items an hour, require standing for 10+ hours of shift, and walking up to 8 miles throughout shift.

Candidates interested in this position must:
-Have previous high volume pick / pack experience
-Have a valid drivers license
-Be able to complete physical requirements of the role
-Have good tenure at prior warehouse / industrial driven roles
-Have flexible schedule availability
**The schedule for this position can include day or afternoon shift openings. The schedule is subject to change on a weekly basis.

This position can become long term for the right candidate. If hired on permanently, the company will sponsor employees CDL licensing. Company offers medical benefits, PTO, and holiday pay. Once hired on there can be another substantial pay increase!
