Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with an active NJ RT license and ARRT certification for evening shifts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital radiology department
• Typical schedule is 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and call included
• Position involves use of a variety of imaging equipment
• EMR system used is Epic
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Perform diagnostic imaging and treatment procedures in compliance with professional and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Participate in call and weekend rotation as scheduled
• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Assignments may not exceed one calendar year from start date without a 30-60 day break

\n \n Requirements\n

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with setup, troubleshooting, and care of imaging equipment
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and communication skills
