The\nRegistered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu\ngrounded in TaraVista Behavioral Health Center core principles. The Registered\nNurse (RN) works collaboratively as a member of the multi- disciplinary\ntreatment team and contributes to each patients individual treatment plan by\nhelping develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions,\ninformed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems.Qualifications:\nEducation: RN license within the State of Massachusetts required; BSN\npreferred. Experience:\nPrevious psychiatric / substance inpatient experience\npreferred. CPR certification required. Restraint Reduction de-escalation /\ncrisis intervention experience preferred.Skills: The\nsuccessful candidate will demonstrate ability to use critical thinking to make\ndecisions and solve problems; have an advanced level knowledge of Behavior\nHealth and Substance Abuse treatment modalities; applies nursing process from a\nTrauma Informed Recovery model of care; ability to develop a therapeutic\nrelationship while maintaining professional boundaries; effective oral and\nwritten communication; sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use\nof Electronic Medical Record; crisis management, time management, delegating,\ncoaching and team building skills; and be flexible, creative and able to manage\nstressful situations in a calm, organized and professional mannerAboutMiraVistaMiraVista Behavioral Health Center is an\ninnovative 84 bed inpatient hospital.
