Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Electrophysiology Lab for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.

Position Details Modality

• EP Tech (Electrophysiology)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift

• Days: 4×10-hour shifts
• Schedule: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM , 4 days/week
• On-Call Requirements:
  • 1 night per week
  • 1 weekend every 4th weekend

Requirements Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience
• EP experience required , including:
  • Ablations ( mandatory )
  • Pacing
  • Device procedures

Certifications

• ARRT or RCIS/RCES
• BLS

Licensure

• Illinois state license
  OR
• RCIS/RCES certification

Education

• Applicable Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiology
  OR
• Completion of an accredited radiology technology program

Preferred

• Special procedures experience

Job Responsibilities Imaging & Procedures

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and radiology equipment
• Obtain images of designated body parts according to physician orders/specifications

Procedure Assistance

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
• Monitor patient response throughout procedures
• Pass instruments and catheters as needed
• Maintain a sterile field

Data & Evaluation

• Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data for physician use
