Traveler Aluminum Welder – Vancouver, WA

Pay: $28–$35/hr + $150/day per diem

Location: Vancouver, WA 98661

We’re hiring experienced Aluminum Welders to support the Maneuver Support Vessel (MSV) project—an exciting 10-year initiative to build 32 military transport ships for the U.S. Army. Be part of a team constructing prototype vessels that will carry military vehicles across the globe.

What You’ll Do

• Weld and fabricate aluminum components in various positions.
• Read blueprints and follow precise welding instructions.
• Perform MIG welding (pulse arc preferred) on structural aluminum.
• Pass a hands-on weld test to D1.2 standards (3G & 4G positions).

What You Bring

• Proven experience welding aluminum.
• Ability to describe your aluminum welding.
• MIG welding skills (pulse arc experience a plus).
• Ability to pass a visual and break test on 3/8" aluminum plates.

Shift & Environment

• Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
• Work in a large-scale, clean manufacturing facility focused on government projects (bridges, dams, boats, barges)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
