Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Telecom Construction Specialist
Job at a Glance:  Hybrid role working partially in office, partially in the field in the greater Pittsburgh area, serving as the construction specialist lead responsible for managing construction jobs related to telecommunications.
Location: 300 Corliss Street Pittsburgh Pennsylvania 15220 United States
Work Schedule: Hybrid - 4x onsite, 1 day remote
Pay Rate: $47/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
Duration of Contract: Long-term contract with extension/conversion possibility
Responsibilities:

• Manage and track project milestones, create and issue jobs within the tracking software, and oversee full lifecycle updates.
• Liaise with internal cross-functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales to serve as the primary contact.
• Create, approve, and manage funding requests and purchase orders related to job estimates and materials.
• Conduct quality control workflow management, validate field quality, and ensure milestones such as permit closures and final invoices are completed.
• Reconcile jobs and handle exceptions to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Research contracts and manage administrative documentation related to jobs.
• Provide reporting and analysis on project status and quality control to management.

Required Skills:

• Previous fiber/telecom cable construction.
• Ability to read cable and utility design plans.
• Strong organization and project management skills.

Skills

• Experience with milestone management software such as JT/Polaris or Salesforce.
