Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a nursing job in Smyrna, Georgia.

PART TIME - Registered Nurse job in the Perioperative (Surgery) Department . The hours are 8 AM–8:30 PM , working two 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule.

A Perioperative RN (also called an OR nurse) helps care for patients before, during, and after surgery.
Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and assess patients for surgery , answer questions, and help them feel comfortable.
• Assist during surgery , including supporting the doctors, monitoring patient safety, and using critical thinking to adapt to any changes.
• Give patient-centered care , respect diverse backgrounds, and keep family informed throughout the surgical process.
• Work closely with doctors and healthcare team members to make sure everyone is on the same page.
• Teach and mentor other nurses to help the team grow.
• Follow hospital policies and clinical safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• Nursing degree (Associate or BSN preferred).
• RN license (Georgia or Multi-state Compact).
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• At least 5 years direct patient care nursing experience is required.

This job is for a highly experienced RN who wants to work part-time in the surgical department, helping patients through all stages of surgery and supporting both the care team and patient safety.
