Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. As an SLPA at Wee Care Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing comprehensive speech and language services to individuals of all ages.
Responsibilities:
Assist with speech and language assessments under the supervision of licensed SLPs.
Implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings and SLP recommendations.
Collaborate with SLPs to monitor and document client progress.
Provide individual direct therapy services to clients in their natural setting.
Engage with clients and their families to ensure a collaborative and effective therapeutic process.
Stay current with industry best practices, research, and trends in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
Successful completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
State licensure or certification as required by the state regulatory board.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults.
Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Knowledge of assistive technology and innovative therapy techniques.
