Role Description: This position is responsible for implementing ITOM requirements for a new ServiceNow implementation. Responsibilities include: Supporting the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated processes and workflows for ITOM applications such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, and Cloud Management. Automating processes and workflows for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data. Configuring and maintaining ServiceNow Discovery MID servers, patterns, sensors, probes, discovery IP ranges, and schedules. Gaining experience with implementation across multiple environments including Windows, UNIX, and SNMP devices. Configuring integrations with other data sources and Cloud Discovery, ensuring proper population of the CMDB. Identifying, configuring, troubleshooting, testing, and resolving issues. Interfacing with customer team members to capture business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Supporting Service Mapping efforts through scripting and discovery. Supporting CSDM initiatives. Configuring ITOM dashboards. Creating client reports as requested.
