Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with a deep understanding of Salesforce development and customization. The ideal candidate will complement our Salesforce Consultant team by taking the technical lead in the design, development, and deployment of custom Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring that our Salesforce implementations meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications to meet specific client requirements, including custom objects, workflows, triggers, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Consultants to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into robust technical designs.
  • Lead the technical aspects of Salesforce implementations, including integration with other systems, data migration, and deployment.
  • Implement and optimize Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud solutions, ensuring they align with industry standards and client needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.
  • Work closely with the consulting team to provide technical insights and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices to continuously enhance your development skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration and customization, including custom objects, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.
  • Proven experience in implementing Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud and other Salesforce products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data model, and sharing rules.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified App Builder.
  • Experience with source control and continuous integration tools, such as Git and Salesforce DX.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience development and Salesforce DX.
  • Knowledge of additional Salesforce products or third-party integrations.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Background in software engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
