Interested in working on cutting-edge blockchain technology and creating equitable access to the global financial system? Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

We are looking to hire a PM to own the developer tooling at Stellar network and its smart contract platform, Soroban. This PM will be responsible for shepherding the growth and development of one of the most commonly used tools for developers and users in our ecosystem. We are looking for a product contributor who will guide the improvements of the JS SDK and shepherd Stellar CLI, Lab, and Quickstart as robust, full-featured products. We are looking for someone who can engage in the ecosystem and collaborate with ecosystem contributors to maintain a variety of our tools, including Developer Docs, Scaffold Stellar, and Stellar Wallet Kit. They will leverage our growing ecosystem to improve these tools and tap into our growing building community to work towards a best-in-class developer experience at Stellar.

Responsibilities

• Set a compelling vision for what Developer Tooling can be and evangelize it internally and externally
• Create and own the product strategy for developer tools, which brings that vision to life.
• Work with our broader ecosystem to design, advocate, and implement toolings
• Design and implement new experiences across the entire lifecycle of the developer journey
• Alliance with the Developer Relations team to grow the Stellar ecosystem
• Own the prioritization and roadmap for the product as you work with the rest of the organization to achieve our strategic objectives

You have

• 2+ years of PM experience
• Worked on or with blockchain in a previous role.
• Experience with end-user facing blockchain products
• Familiar with wallets and wallet interfaces, both good and bad, in other ecosystems

Bonus points if

• Worked on a browser based crypto native wallet in the past
• Worked at another L1 blockchain
• Consumer fintech experience
• Owned user onboarding for a consumer or prosumer product

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $155,000- $215,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
