Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Rawlins, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing support to individuals and families, offering counseling, advocacy, and connecting clients with resources to enhance their well-being. This position is available for an immediate start and is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to clients dealing with mental health, substance abuse, and family issues.
• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Offer support and guidance to clients navigating difficult life situations, including family conflict, housing instability, and financial challenges.
• Connect clients with community resources, services, and support networks.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, school staff, and other community organizations to provide holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate case records and document progress in compliance with regulations and organizational standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Advocate for clients to ensure they have access to the necessary services and benefits.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Active and valid Social Worker licensure in Wyoming (LCSW).
• Experience in a social work setting preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of social services, mental health, and community resources in Wyoming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Crisis management and intervention experience a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
