This role is designed for the upcoming school year and focuses on supporting students emotional and social development through a variety of interventions and programs.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure for social work
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of community resources and social services
• Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, intervention, and support services to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective intervention plans
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
• Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in school social work
