What you'll be doing day to day

As global energy and resource consumption increase, IKEA aims to create more from less to reduce waste and leave a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations. As a Product Recovery Associate, you will contribute to recovery and sustainability efforts by:

• Minimizing damages and costs related to IKEA products.
• Repackaging and assembling products to give them a second chance.
• Presenting IKEA products in As-Is condition with strong commercial expression, pricing attractively while ensuring store profitability.
• Supporting quality initiatives to enhance customer perception of IKEA products.
• Considering sustainability impacts in recovery decisions.
• Fostering an environment that embraces IKEA's culture, diversity, and community.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of assembling IKEA furniture.
• Understanding of waste management and sustainability principles.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Flexibility to shift focus as needed.
• Technological proficiency with handheld devices and computer programs like Microsoft Excel.
• Self-motivated with quick decision-making skills.
• Experience in customer-oriented businesses.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing 50-75 lbs or more.

Position: Permanent, Part-time
Hours: 12-20 hours/week, with availability on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 9:00 am-10:00 pm.
Pay rate: $19.52 - $27.86/hour.
