What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate pilot actions during training exercises
• Respond to voice commands from students and input proper entries into the automated system
• Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
• Ensure accurate communication via the voice communication system (VCS) using proper phraseology
• Complete required certifications for classroom and lab performance as a Remote Pilot Operator

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
• Clear verbal communication skills to ensure understanding
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, including roles such as Multimedia Developers and Subject Matter Experts
• Certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
• Knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Familiarity with pilot/controller communications or phraseology
