Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Project Manager in Walnut Creek, CA. Overview: We are hiring a Junior Project Manager to support high-visibility, enterprise-wide initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into strategic leadership by blending tactical execution with exposure to executive-level priorities. Key Responsibilities: Support end-to-end project delivery across HR, Services, and Smart divisions Contribute to the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals Collaborate with VPs and cross-functional teams to maintain project momentum Use Asana to track progress, manage risks, and report KPIs Apply change management principles to support adoption and value realization Maintain project documentation and assist with stakeholder communications Requirements 2-5 years of professional experience in project coordination or junior project management roles 1-3 years of consulting experience (Big 4, Accenture, Cognizant, Slalom, etc. preferred) Demonstrated ownership of project lifecycle components (planning, execution, delivery) Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies, Asana, and portfolio management tools Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills An ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a desire to lead cross-functional efforts The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
