Life Sciences Patent Associate (Junior to Mid-Level) – Prestigious Law Firm | Boston, MA

Our client, one of the most prestigious law firms in the world, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its highly regarded Life Sciences Patent Practice in Boston .

About The Role

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with innovative clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. The associate will support a wide range of intellectual property matters, including:

• Managing and developing global patent portfolios
• Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
• Performing freedom-to-operate, patentability, and invalidity analyses
• Assisting with IP due diligence for corporate transactions
• Supporting post-grant proceedings, IP counseling, and litigation

Qualifications

• Background in Biology, Chemistry, or a related life sciences field; Ph.D. strongly preferred
• 1–4 years of relevant experience at a top law firm or boutique IP firm
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly proactive, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding academic credentials from a respected law school
