Job Description

As a Packer at Sika you will be performing the following job duties:

• Take direction from Team Leader and/or Supervisor
• Follow schedule created by the Planner/Scheduler
• Complete manufacturing orders quickly, accurately and carefully
• Accurately label containers as required, making sure labels are clean in appearance, free from wrinkles and match manufacturing instruction
• Accurately label boxes including ingredient labels as required
• Adopt good housekeeping practices such as cleaning, organizing and removing trash
• Immediately report and clean spills
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Verify batch numbers and product descriptions match manufacturing orders
• Accurately count containers, place in boxes or on skids in a safe, orderly and efficient manner
• Clean vessels, tools, containers and work area well to assure residual material is not present

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
