Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roustabout to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks on oil rigs and construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy equipment, and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Duties:

• Working under supplied breathing air. H2S environment.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of flares and other oil & gas infrastructure.
• Perform rigging tasks to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials.
• Collaborate with team members to accomplish . Installation of flares, maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Support construction activities by assisting with site preparation, and material handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency. Follow respiratory program

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on oil rigs or in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including excavators, cranes, and forklifts.
• Experience with pipeline installation and maintenance is a plus.
• Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adapt to changing conditions.
• Clean driving record is highly recommended, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 80 per week
