Shields Health has an exciting opportunity for a MRI Technologist to work Full-Time, Part-Time or per diem with flexible options:

36 hours paid 40: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:30am - 8p or 10:30am - 11pm

36 hours paid 40: Monday 7:30am-8pm- Winchester Hospital, Wednesday 7am-7:30pm Winchester Hospital, every other weekend 7:30am-8pm - Winchester Hospital

36 hours paid 40: Monday 7:30am-8pm, Friday 10:30am-11pm Winchester Hospital , every other weekend Saturday & Sunday 7:30a-8p,

24 hours: Monday 10:30am-11pm Every Other Saturday and Sunday 10:30am-11pm

24 hours: Friday 10:30am-11p Every Other Saturday and Sunday 1030a-11p

16 hours: Wednesday 7:30am-8pm Winchester Hospital, every other Sunday 7:30am-4pm Unicorn Park

12 hours: Every other Saturday & Sunday 10:30am-11pm Unicorn Park

The Role:

Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to.
Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
Perform scan in accordance to center’s protocol.
Administer intravenous contrast.
Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.
Contrast administration

The Skills:

This opportunity requires prior MRI scanning experience. Necessary requirements include MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications, and fantastic interpersonal skills.

In addition the applicant will need to:

Sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
Assist patients with mobility difficulties
Some inpatient locations may require employee’s to participate in a call schedule/rotation
To push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
Above physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation
