Job Description

Job Description:

  • Coordinate and manage mortgage licensing and NMLS sponsorships for Account Executives, Branches, and the company; act as liaison with onboarding and licensing partners.
  • Monitor and track annual license renewals, continuing education compliance, and address licensee deficiencies in partnership with education providers and Sales Management.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly Mortgage Call Reports and support regulatory and state audits through documentation collection and reporting.
  • Audit and maintain licensing spreadsheets, prepare regular status reports, and ensure accurate payment processing for licensing and education expenses.
  • Collaborate with IT and internal departments for license system approvals, and communicate licensing status across departments.
  • Support internal compliance audits, social media audits, and assist with development of policies and regulatory procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; NMLS licensing experience with a mortgage company or bank strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage compliance, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Hands on Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) State Licensing experience
  • Compliance experience
  • Audit and Regulatory Reporting Support - (assisting with audits or preparing documentation for state examination)
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a regulatory environment.

* Hands on Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) State Licensing experience
