Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will support the Medical Affairs team by conducting scientific presentations, developing advisory content, supporting clinical trials, and assisting with sales training while leveraging relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and clinics in the region to expand corporate partnerships. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering scientific presentations at local and national levels, planning and executing field-based activities with area managers and regional business directors, and building long-term relationships with opinion leaders. Additionally, the MSL will understand customer needs to provide field training and support, work autonomously within the Medical Affairs department, and participate in National and Regional meetings, as well as corporate presentations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced degree including, but not limited to, MD, Ph.D., PharmD, RPh
• Minimum of 5 years of previous MSL experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Melanoma, Oncology, or Diagnostics
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter, the autonomous experience of working in a start-up environment.
• High level of scientific and clinical acumen
• Understanding of regulatory framework and compliance in interacting with the medical community
• Actively display characteristics that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences, Inc.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• This is a field-based position with a non-consistent schedule, including some evening and weekend engagements, as well as required overnight and weekend travel.

• Travel expectation is 50-60% with several overnights.
