IDR is seeking a Medical Records Specialist  to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Rancho Mirage, California. This role involves supporting healthcare operations by managing and processing medical records in a fast-paced medical environment. The position offers a great opportunity to work within a reputable medical facility dedicated to patient care and documentation accuracy.

Position Overview for the Medical Records Specialist:

• Retrieve, scan, and index medical documents accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all scanned documents are correctly positioned and identified
• Merge and insert pages/documents properly within patient records
• Maintain patient confidentiality and document integrity at all times
• Follow established procedures to meet quality and timeframe standards

Requirements for the Medical Records Specialist:

• 1 year in a Medical Record Department or other healthcare setting
• Communication Skills (written and verbal)
• Able to follow direction
• Ability to run a copier, printer, and fax machine
• Medical Terminology knowledge
