Job Title: Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney

Location: White Plains, NY (Hybrid - 3 days remote)

Responsibilities:

• Manage cases through all phases, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, and trial.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Analyze complex medical records and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy and risk assessment.

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience in medical malpractice defense or related healthcare litigation.
• Strong litigation skills, including trial preparation.
• Ability to interpret medical records and work effectively with medical experts.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $150,000-$210,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
