Registered Nurse (RN), PACU, Post Anesthesia Care Unit
Job Type: Full time hour; rotating shifts with call required.
On your days off spend some time fishing and boating on Wilson Lake. Come tour the historical sites, visit Key Cave National Wildlife Refuge, or take a relaxing lake cruise on Wheeler Lake.

Department/Unit Summary
Surgical Services at North Alabama Medical Center consists of 15 surgical suites, 6 Endoscopy Rooms, 6 private Pre-Admission Testing rooms, and 30 same day surgery rooms. Our surgical team consists of specially trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technologists, certified nurse anesthetists and other highly trained professionals. We strive to provide outstanding and compassionate care and service from pre-op to discharge.

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
~Must have an active AL or Compact RN License.
~ RN responsible for providing the immediate post-op recovery care of the Perioperative patient in the PACU through the use of the nursing process. The Nursing process is defined as the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluating of nursing care pertinent to the individual patient.
