Position: Marketing Manager

Position Type: Permanent

Location: Ronkonkoma, NY

Hours: Business Hours

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 /yr.

We have an opportunity for a Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, will be familiar with the world of search engine optimization, and will have previously demonstrated ability to work with advertising contractors. They will be self-motivated, innovative, and experienced in the marketing discipline. The person selected for this role will have excellent team skills and possess a strong ability to work in a dynamic small company environment.

What you will be doing:

· Develop a marketing plan in conjunction with the CEO and President, using existing information of prior marketing efforts.

· Create a strategy and timeline for company growth and expansion, to further business goals.

· Learn about the company products and customers and apply that knowledge to the overall marketing plan.

· Interface with IT team about website issues and opportunities.

· Interface with the company’s SEO and PPC marketing company, where elements of marketing are currently outsourced.

· Utilize social media, watch internet traffic for trends and indicators.

· Manage the company website content, ensuring appropriate key words, photos, videos and other relevant information is current.

· Write blog posts, newsletters, do data entry of website content, and evaluate new marketing areas.

· Help evaluate new products based on statistics of what is or is not working.

· Capture the “uniqueness” of the company and market that to customers.

· Evaluate current content and strategies and develop creative ways to update and enhance the marketing of individual items or product lines.

What experience we are looking for:

· The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of marketing experience, a passion for excellence and a willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the business.

· Must have ability to use spreadsheets for data analysis, graphics programs for art development, and cameras for product photography.

· Ideal candidate will come from manufacturing or distribution industries.

· Some experience with HTML page structure, as regards SEO.

· Working knowledge of AI and Prompts.

· Able to work with a high degree of independence while being a strong team player and able to work with all members of the management team in the company.

· Understanding of Google Search Console and Google Analytics a plus.
