Job Description

Note: Only candidates with 5+ years of prior manufacturing experience will be considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze labor standards and review product/project flow data, equipment needs, and labor requirements to improve productivity and reduce unit costs in electronics manufacturing operations.
  • Participate as a manufacturing/process engineering representative in new product introduction activities, including launch planning and scheduling.
  • Design, document, evaluate, and support both existing and new manufacturing processes to drive production efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, work instructions, FMEAs, and process control plans.
  • Identify root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend improvements in design, tolerances, or processing methods.
  • Apply Lean principles to optimize production efficiency, layout, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness while eliminating waste.
  • Provide support for current production programs by minimizing equipment downtime, maximizing productivity, and enhancing quality.
  • Act as a technical advisor to internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation to enhance production throughput.
  • Support production staff during the setup and debugging of new applications.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials Science, or Mechanical).
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing process design, execution, and sustainment.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership within high-reliability SMT, PTH, or Systems Integration environments.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing validation principles, quality systems, and engineering design fundamentals.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Aptitude in electrical and automation programming.
  • Experienced in planning, coordinating, and executing manufacturing engineering activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for innovation.
  • Demonstrated success in leading the design and implementation of manufacturing processes that meet goals for cost, run rate, productivity, and quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a resourceful and decisive approach.
