Responsibilities:

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure a smooth and consistent learning experience for students.
• Manage the classroom effectively, encouraging participation, minimizing distractions, and maintaining a positive environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
• Supervise students both in and out of the classroom, including hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias.
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the teacher’s plan.
• For long-term assignments: develop lesson plans in alignment with the regular teacher’s approach.

Requirements:

• Hold a Nevada State Substitute Teaching License.
• Minimum of 60 college credits.
• Pass a background check.
