Job Description

Flagship Companies is hiring a site manager for our Anderson Geneva project in Vineyard. This site is a former steel mill and involves the oversight of environmental remediation, infrastructure planning and installation, and land use planning. Experience in land development or environmental remediation is preferred but not required. The ability to work independently to oversee complex projects, excellent communication and organizational skills, etc. are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with environmental consultants and development partners on contractor site access and setup and drilling of horizontal wells
• Assist with decanting and placement of drilling water and spoils
• Assist with surveying future road locations and final grading
• Coordinate concrete removal for placement of electrical conduit to biosparge compressor building
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and Utah Department of Environmental Quality (UDEQ)
• Coordinate with excavation contractor for removal of saleable slag. Develop strategy for relocating or consolidation of unsaleable material in place or consolidated with sediment.
• Perform daily inspections of site to be aware of activities, trespassers, damage, and security
• Coordinate and assist as needed with groundwater sampling at site management areas
• Provide safety oversight and training to contractors as needed
• Coordinate efforts with the rest of the Anderson Geneva team

Qualifications

• Required: project management experience, team orientation, and willingness to learn
• Preferred: civil engineering, oversight of infrastructure installation, budgeting, and land use planning
