Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Junior Graphic Designer will support the Philadelphia Phillies creative team in bringing the brand to life across digital, social, out-of-home, in-ballpark, and print channels. This role is ideal for an early-career designer who's passionate about sports, has a sharp eye for details, and is excited to help shape how fans experience Phillies baseball.

In this role, you'll collaborate within a creative team to execute quality designs that consistently represent the Phillies brand and assist in establishing a best-in-class creative foundation—whether it's a social graphic for starting lineups, a billboard on I-95, or a print piece for a ballpark event.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Design and produce on-brand assets for:
    • Social media content
    • Marketing campaigns across social, digital, out-of-home, and print
    • Seasonal promotions and special events
    • In-ballpark signage, sponsorships and community initiatives
    • Short and long-form video
  • Adhere to and continue to build from a structured brand guide
  • Organize working files, exports, and assets within shared systems and servers
  • Collaborate closely with designers, motion designers, social, and marketing teams to meet deadlines
  • Stay up to date on design trends in sports, entertainment, and social content and bring fresh visual ideas to the team
  • Assist with file prep and print production

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of professional design experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field—or a relevant certification combined with equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Lightroom a plus)
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills
  • A portfolio that demonstrates clean, thoughtful design and an eye for brand consistency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, including nights, weekends, and game days

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Experience designing for social media content
  • Basic knowledge of Figma or similar collaborative design tools
  • Familiarity with motion graphics or editing software (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus
  • Passion for baseball, sports, and the Philadelphia Phillies brand

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense for creative problem-solving
  • Coachable, collaborative, and eager to learn from senior creatives
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects, navigating various internal stakeholders, and shifting priorities
  • Have a keen interest in design trends and value continuously developing your skillsets
  • Provide and accept constructive criticism in a clear, professional manner
  • Energized by game day atmosphere and contributing to an iconic sports brand
