Job Description: IT Enterprise Architect Strategic IT & Security Architecture | San Jose, CA

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Architect for a temporary assignment with a leading partner in the electronic component manufacturing industry. This role will guide the development of secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions that align IT infrastructure with business goals.

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay: $50 $60 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary

Industry: Electronic Component Manufacturing

Schedule: Monday Friday, standard business hours

What Youll Do:

• Design and implement enterprise-level technology roadmaps and frameworks aligned to strategic business goals
• Conduct deep-dive assessments of business operations, innovation needs, and emerging technologies
• Establish and uphold IT governance standards, security policies, and regulatory compliance
• Recommend and evaluate technologies that enhance efficiency, drive innovation, and mitigate risk
• Modernize IT infrastructure for scalability, resilience, and agility
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans with a focus on security
• Integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including threat modeling and secure coding
• Guide architectural design and infrastructure improvements in collaboration with IT teams
• Lead the implementation and validation of enterprise solutions to ensure compliance with architecture and security standards
• Monitor industry trends and infrastructure performance; identify areas for continuous improvement

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or similar IT leadership role
• Expertise in network security , including VPNs, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Familiarity with endpoint security tools like antivirus, EDR, and MDM
• Cloud security experience across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, and compliance monitoring
• Knowledge of data protection practices including encryption, tokenization, and DLP
• Skilled in disaster recovery and business continuity strategy development
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS
• Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills
