Industrial Maintenance Electrician Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a well known manufacturer who is in search of an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join their team. The Industrial Maintenance Electrician will install, repair, maintain, dismantle, and reassemble machinery in an industrial and construction environment. This includes installation of electrical and electronic equipment with PLC, variable frequency drives and process control loops. The ideal Industrial Maintenance Electrician demonstrates excellent knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Electrician experience, has welding experience, can read blueprints, and can easily spot errors and problems in machines to easily resolve with minimal interruptions. The Industrial Maintenance Electrician is a full time, direct hire position in Groveport, OH.

Industrial Maintenance Electrical Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain & Install Electrical & Electronic Equipment Including PC’s/PLC’s, Variable Frequency Drives, Electronic/Electrical Troubleshooting, & Process Control Loops
• Knowledge of OSHA 29CFR 1910 - General Safety Standards, Lock Out Try Out, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hot Work Practices, Mobile Equipment Operation, NFPA 70E, PPE Etc.
• Document Changes, Equipment Modifications & New Installations
• Accomplish Required Work With Minimal Interruptions to Production
• Set up Barrels & Screws on Extruders
• Set up All Equipment For Production Runs
• Ability to Perform Work With Minimal Supervision
• Install Power Requirements For Equipment Modifications & Installations
• Knowledge of CMMS Programs
• Perform Software Updates, Filing, & Archiving of PLC/PC Applications
• Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines

Industrial Maintenance Electrical Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required
• 3 - 5 Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience Required
• Must Have Solid Welding Experience
• Must be Able to Perform Machine Alignment, Installation & Repair
• Demonstrates Solid Knowledge of Precise Fitting of Bearings, Gears & Shafts, Motors & Couplings
• Can Read & Interpret Blueprints For Electrical & Mechanical Design & Repair
• Experience With Blending & Extrusion Equipment Preferred
• Electrical & Mechanical Background in 3 Phase, 480v Power Experience Required
• Familiarity With PC & PLC Equipment
• Solid Understanding of Conveyors, Carousels, ASRS Systems, Monorails, Bulk Conveyors, Pumps, Valves & Seals
• Must be Able to Climb & Work at Elevated Heights
• Knowledge of 5S & Lean Principles
• Must be a Self-Starter & Ability to Make an Impact
• Demonstrates Excellent Communication With Management
