Pay

$34.20/hr for 1st Shift Training ($2/hr Shift Differential for Weekday Nights and $2.50/hr for Weekend Nights)

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE NEEDED - Could be weekend nights or weekday nights, 7p-7a; Train M-F from 7a-3p for 90 days

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Exercise and promote safety
2. Trouble-shoot hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems
3. Perform fabrication, welding, torch cutting, light carpentry duties and other maintenance functions as required
4. Perform PM per schedule
5. Install, maintain, repair or rebuild complicated machine tools and special purpose machines and plant equipment under minimal supervision
6. Disassemble problem equipment and determine extent of repairs necessary; repair, refit, or replace worn or defective parts
7. Perform all required maintenance of heavy machinery, as well as building maintenance
8. Possess a good knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pneumatic circuits, as well as the ability to read and comprehend mechanical blueprints and schematics
9. Weld and fabricate
10. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED; additional training, degrees, or diplomas in industrial maintenance or a related discipline is preferred
2. Minimum Experience: At least 3-5 years’ experience as a heavy industrial millwright and/or maintenance mechanical technician; at least 5 years’ experience as a welding/fabricating technician skilled in SMAW, MIG, and TIG
3. Certifications Required: Obtained during new hire orientation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively listen and communicate ideas and thoughts to others; able to assimilate ideas originated by others
2. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
3. Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out and communicate written and/or oral instructions

Working Conditions

Schedule: 3rd shift - Weekdays (M-W and M-Th) or Weekends (Th-Su and Fr-Su) – 7p-7a
