Job Summary:

As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of HR functions. This internship offers an opportunity to learn about recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and other essential HR processes. You will work closely with HR professionals and assist in executing HR initiatives to support the organization's objectives.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Recruitment Support :
    • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms.
    • Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
    • Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Participate in interviews and provide feedback when necessary.
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Support HR in maintaining employee records and databases.
    • Help in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
    • Assist in addressing employee queries and concerns in a timely manner.
    • Contribute to fostering a positive work environment through various initiatives.
  • Training and Development:
    • Aid in identifying training needs within the organization.
    • Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions.
    • Help in the development of training materials and resources.
    • Track training attendance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • HR Administration:
    • Assist in maintaining HR documentation, including employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
    • Support HR in data entry and maintaining accurate employee records.
    • Assist in compiling HR reports and analytics as required.
    • Help with special HR projects as assigned.
  • Compliance:
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Support HR in maintaining confidentiality and data privacy of employee information.
    • Aid in conducting audits to ensure HR processes align with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Education and Qualifications :

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Prior internship or work experience in HR is a plus.

Work Environment :

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
