Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:

The Hotel Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of hotel guests, employees, and property. This role involves patrolling the premises, responding to incidents, monitoring surveillance systems, and ensuring that all security policies are followed to provide a safe and welcoming environment.

Available Shifts:

• Morning Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  
• Overnight Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
  

Candidates must be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.

Requirements: Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol all areas of the hotel, including guest floors, public spaces, back-of-house, parking areas, and entrances/exits.
  
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems for suspicious activity.
  
• Respond promptly to incidents such as theft, disturbances, accidents, or emergencies.
  
• Thoroughly investigate and document all security-related incidents.
  
• Control access to the property, especially during night shifts or special events.
  
• Provide escort services to guests or employees upon request.
  
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures, including emergency and evacuation protocols.
  
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
  
• Conduct routine checks on fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and alarm systems.
  
• Assist with crowd control during peak periods, events, or conferences.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  
• Good physical condition and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  
• Strong observation and communication skills.
  
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  
• Flexible availability and willingness to work rotating shifts.
