Job Description

Located in NW Houston, Be Strong Fitness is hiring a driven and reliable coach to lead strength-based group classes and support our members beyond the workouts. This is more than just a coaching job - you’ll be helping people stay consistent, stay connected, and ultimately succeed in their fitness journey. You’ll coach, communicate, and contribute to a positive training culture that emphasizes results, education, and community.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to coach high-quality classes  in the evenings and/or on Saturday mornings , while also supporting the gym through  content creation, events, member check-ins, and more.

We specialize in Functional Bodybuilding - blending strength training, functional movements, powerlifting, bodybuilding techniques, and metabolic conditioning to help members build muscle, get strong, and move better. Our training philosophy is built on teaching proper technique, delivering exceptional customer service, using evidence-based training and nutrition strategies, and focusing on long-term results to ensure sustainable progress for every member.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Training

  • Lead small-group strength training classes (typically 8–12 trainees) in a safe, motivating, and educational way
  • Coach members on proper form, movement quality, tempo, and full range of motion
  • Provide progressions, regressions, and individualized coaching as needed
  • (Optional) Take on personal training clients based on availability and fit

Member Success & Retention

  • Build relationships with members through regular communication and check-ins
  • Support member consistency and goal achievement through follow-up and encouragement
  • Help onboard new and support existing members with consultations and goal-setting

Support Tasks

  • Help with content creation (videos, social, testimonials) and occasional events
  • Handle basic admin tasks like attendance tracking, check-ins, and class readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gym and training space

(Optional) Sales & Lead Follow-Up

  • Contribute to membership growth through relationship-based selling
  • Follow up with leads and schedule consultations — commission available
