Job Description

As a Geographic Information System (GIS) Intern you will learn from KBC's innovative GIS and Spatial Analysts to drive results for commercial real estate brokers.

In this role, you will serve as support for the in-house Location Intelligence team at KBC, who are responsible for managing location data, labor analytics and mapping projects and deliverables for teams across the United States.

As a GIS Intern on the Location intelligence team at KBC, you will have a unique opportunity to learn from our nationwide marketing team and sales professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mine and merge labor data from our provider to create automated reports and information deliverables
  • Use resources and software like ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and Business Analyst Online to build reports and deliverable information
  • Build raster heat layers to support KBC's data library in ArcGIS online
  • Assist the Location Intelligence team

Preferred Qualifications
  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Business Analyst Online
  • Familiar with ESRI Enterprise, Server, and publishing spatial data layers
Education and Experience:
  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program focused on GIS or have completed an undergraduate degree and pursuing a GIS certificate
  • Previous internship experience a plus
  • Must be available for a minimum of eight continuous weeks between May and September 2026

This internship is a paid experience with an expected hourly rate between $20-24. Location, skills and other factors are considered when determining final pay offered.
